General FAQs

1Do I have to come into MGBe Legal offices, or can we have our meeting elsewhere?
No, we offer online consultations via Zoom, and this allows us to be flexible with time, and arrange urgent consultations at short notice.
2How many cases have you handled?
We have handled hundreds of immigration and asylum cases over many years, including complex human rights appeals, family and private life applications, EU Settlement Scheme matters, nationality cases, and business immigration. This breadth of experience allows us to identify risks early and build strong, well‑evidenced applications.
3Are you the right immigration law firm for me?
We may be the right firm for you if you are looking for specialist immigration or asylum expertise delivered with clarity, integrity, and care. We understand that immigration issues can be deeply personal and often stressful, so we take the time to listen, explain the process clearly, and tailor our advice to your circumstances. Clients choose MGBe Legal because they want experienced, thoughtful representation and someone who will treat their case with the attention and respect it deserves.
4How do your professional fees work?
We work on a fixed‑fee basis for most applications, so you know the cost from the outset. For more complex matters—such as appeals or urgent work—we agree with a clear fee structure in advance and keep you informed throughout. Our fees cover our professional time and expertise; Home Office fees and other third‑party costs are separate and will always be explained before you proceed.
5As an individual, Do I have to pay my immigration legal fees upfront?
For most individual applications, we ask for 50% of the fee upfront when you instruct us, and the remaining 50% when your application is ready to be submitted. This allows you to spread the cost while ensuring we can progress your case efficiently. Any Home Office fees or third‑party costs are separate and will be discussed with you in advance.
6What is your success rate?
We do not publish a numerical success rate, because every immigration case is different, and outcomes depend on individual circumstances. What we can say is that we apply meticulous preparation, detailed and personalised advice, and specialist expertise to every matter, and we only take on cases where we believe we can add real value.
7Does MGBe Legal assist clients inside and outside the United Kingdom?
We represent clients within the UK and internationally. Many immigration applications are made overseas, and we regularly support clients remotely through video calls, email, and secure document sharing. Our service remains the same wherever you are based.
8Do you guarantee my visa will be granted or offered “No Win No Fee”?
We cannot guarantee the outcome of any immigration application, because decisions rest solely with the Home Office. For the same reason, we do not operate on a “No Win No Fee” basis. Instead, we focus on providing clear guidance, identifying risks early, and preparing strong, well‑supported applications to give you the best possible chance.
